Recrystallization Mechanism and Processing Map of 18CrNiMo7-6 Alloy Steel during Hot Deformation

In this study, isothermal single-pass forming doformation of forged 18CrNiMo7-6 alloy steel was carried out by Gleeble-3500 thermal simulation testing machine. The constitutive equations and processing maps with parameters deformation temperature strain rate were established. results show that the optimum hot are 1050 °C, 0.1 s–1 peak power efficiency being 0.432. mechanism grain refinement during compression also characterized electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX), discontinuous (DDRX) growth main microstructure evolution mechanisms working. rotation sub-grains under CDRX is factor for formation new grains. addition, DDRX formed bulging HAGBs at boundary triple junction original grains, forms finer study found affected organization mechanism, plays a leading role when low. With increase temperature, begins to play When rises 1150 grains continue grow higher temperature.
